London Gateway is a new deep water port and business park near to Stanford-le-Hope. It is the largest project of its kind in Britain and cost £1.5billion. The project created a world class deep sea container port with a business park attached. The project has developed 12,000 new jobs in the port and an estimated 3,000 new jobs linked to the port's activities.
